How do I sign up?+
Click Start free on any page, work through the 6-step onboarding (60 seconds), then connect your Gmail when you're ready to activate the agent. You can browse the dashboard before connecting Gmail.
Do I need a big following?+
Earnest works with creators between 5K and 500K followers across TikTok and Instagram combined. Below 5K, brand response rates are too low to justify the spend; above 500K, you should have a real agent.
What niches does Earnest support?+
Beauty, fitness, fashion, food, lifestyle, tech, gaming, parenting, finance — the big creator-economy categories. New niches are added monthly based on creator demand.
Why does the agent need my Gmail?+
The agent sends pitches from your address (so brands can reply to you, not us) and reads incoming replies (so it can classify intent and draft responses). Both scopes are required for the cron to do anything useful.
Pitches
How often does the agent pitch?+
The auto-cron runs every Monday morning, 8am UTC. Each batch sends up to your tier's weekly cap (Starter: 15/wk, Pro: 50/wk, Premium: 120/wk). You can pitch additional brands manually from the dashboard.
Can I review pitches before they send?+
Yes. Default for new accounts is review-mode — Earnest drafts, you approve. Once you trust it (most creators take 1-2 weeks), flip to autopilot in Settings.
What happens if a brand doesn't reply?+
Earnest auto-follows-up on a 7-day cadence (max 2 follow-ups), then marks the lead stale and moves on. Stale leads get re-pitched 90 days later when something changes (new campaign, viral moment).
How does the agent know how I sound?+
On signup we ask for your tone (Casual / Playful / Professional / Luxury / Educational / Funny). On Pro, we re-train the voice fingerprint from your last 50 sent emails so pitches read like you wrote them.
Replies
What does intent classification mean?+
Every reply is classified by the agent: high-intent / budget-ask / decline / ghost / closing. The Inbox tab sorts by these so you don't miss the ones that matter.
Can the agent negotiate for me?+
On Pro, yes. When a brand replies with a number, the agent drafts a counter-offer reply that anchors high without burning the deal. You see the draft, you can edit, send, or skip.
What if a brand offers me less than my rate?+
Earnest reads your floor / typical / target rates from onboarding. Below your floor, the draft is a polite walk-away. Between floor and typical, it counter-offers up. Above typical, it accepts.

What does it cost?+
Free for your first pitch. Starter $14/mo, Pro $29/mo, Premium $49/mo. Annual saves ~17%. All tiers get the dashboard + manual pitching; auto-cron unlocks on Starter+.
How do I cancel?+
One click in Settings → Plan. No phone calls, no "are you sure" surveys. 30-day pro-rated refund, no questions.
What's the First Reply Guarantee?+
On Pro, if no brand replies in your first 30 days of auto-pitching, your subscription gets extended free for another month — automatically, no email needed.
Privacy & data
Is my Gmail data safe?+
Earnest uses Google's official OAuth flow and only requests the scopes needed (send, read inbox, calendar). You can revoke access anytime in your Google account settings.
Do you train AI models on my emails?+
No. Reply-classification + draft-generation runs through Anthropic's Claude API; we never feed your content to model training. Your voice fingerprint stays scoped to your account.
Can I export my data?+
Yes — Settings → Data export drops a CSV of your pipeline + closed deals + inbound replies.
